Hello! Welcome! I am so glad you are here!

Ever feel as if the world is much bigger than you? As if you are caught between trying to carry the weight of everything and everyone around you! You are not alone!

I believe it takes great courage—or moxie—to seek counseling. Whether unexpected or planned, life changes can bring overwhelming stress. Even joyful milestones like a new marriage or the arrival of a baby can create emotional strain. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I work with clients to discover their strengths and tap into their own “inner moxie” to foster meaningful, lasting change.

I offer a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual, providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can navigate life’s challenges and rediscover resilience.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in Counseling from Lamar University. Prior to becoming a counselor, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education from Sam Houston State University. With a background as both an educator and school counselor, I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with special needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and ADHD.

In addition to serving students and their families, I’ve also served on crisis response teams with local non-profits, offering critical support to Texans during natural disasters and other emergencies. These experiences have equipped me with valuable tools to assist first responders in processing trauma and navigating the effects of secondary traumatic stress. I am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NCC) as well as a life long learner. I am ready for you! Are you ready for me?

When I am not in sessions with my clients, you will find me outside! I love being outdoors when the weather is nice. Spending time with my husband and our 3 playful dogs. We love traveling, hiking, playing games, family visits and just hanging out.

I am passionate about helping people discover their strength from within. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Warmly,
Lynna Arbogast, M.Ed., LPC-S, NCC
